The PPOC-Q Series piston pumps are available in single, double and triple stage configurations. The double stage pump is configured with a balanced impeller assembly so there is no need for a bypass valve. This eliminates the need for excessive piping and reduces the possibility of leaks.

The Vickers PPOC-Q series is available in sizes from 3/8 to 1 inch working pressure and with displacements from 0.15 to 8 liters per stroke (0.15 – 6 HP). Standard materials include AISI 316 stainless steel or titanium alloy. Other materials are available upon request for different applications.

The Vickers PPOC-Q Series piston pumps have been designed specifically to eliminate this requirement. They do not require any back pressure at their discharge port, so they can be used in applications where traditional pumps would not work.

A suction strainer is recommended if the supply reservoir contains foreign material or if the pump is located below the supply level. The rated flow of the pump will be reduced approximately 5% with a 15 psi (1 bar) back pressure at the discharge port.

Vickers PPOC-Q Series piston pumps are suitable for heavy duty industrial applications where high pressures are required. They are available in a variety of configurations and sizes ranging from 1/2″ to 2″. These pumps are available as single stage or two stage units, depending on your needs.

The body and piston are made of aluminum alloy which has excellent heat dissipation characteristics and durability. This series also features a self lubricating bronze bushing on both ends of the piston rod for long life operation without oil leaks or wear.

The cylinder is made from bronze alloy and can be supplied in two standard sizes: 45mm or 65mm bore. The valves are located inside the piston housing and provide a fully enclosed unit with no external pipework connections required.

The PPOC-Q Series piston pumps can be supplied as complete units or as replacement parts for existing equipment. All components are interchangeable except for the housing which must be replaced when changing from one style of pump to another (i.e., from 45mm bore to 65mm bore).

The pump shafts are made of steel or aluminium. The pistons can be furnished with a double acting cylinder or single acting cylinder depending on your requirement. The piston rods can be made of stainless steel, chrome plated carbon steel or nitrided steel. It is also possible to use a hydraulic disc valve instead of the mechanical shaft seal for sealing purposes.

These pumps are mounted in an upright position without any need for level adjustment devices or additional guides which makes them suitable for use in harsh environments where space is limited such as offshore platforms, marine vessels and other boats where water level fluctuations may occur during operation such as ships’ ballast water tanks etc
