In order to remove this part you’ll need a large hammer, a large screwdriver, a large wrench, or any other tool that can be used for prying and striking. A large hammer is my favorite because I can use it for both purposes. The first thing that you’ll need to do is locate the pin on your excavator’s linkage arm. It’s located on the underside of the linkage arm and is held in place by two screws. Remove these screws and then pull out the pin.
The next step is to locate the bolt hole on your excavator’s hydraulic lines. This is located on the side of the hydraulic line that connects to your pump body. There are two bolts that hold this bolt in place and they are also on the side of your pump body where they can’t be seen. Use your screwdriver to loosen them so that you can pull them out. Once you’ve done this then remove all four bolts including those that hold the pin in place and then reinsert it into its original position.

put new ec35d volvo excavator bucket on arm and pins
I went to work on a construction site today where they recently bought a new Volvo EC35D. The bucket was still in the crate, so I thought I’d take some pictures and make a how-to post.
The arm is held on by 4 bolts, and the bucket is held on by 2 pins. You will need a torque wrench to tighten the pins and bolts back up.
First, take out the 2 pins that hold your bucket to the arm.
Then undo the 4 bolts that hold the arm to the machine. Now you can remove the old bucket and put your new one in its place. Remember to re-install those 4 bolts first, then install your pins
To change the bucket, it is important to have a guiding device. The guide should be located at the base of the machine and should have four holes; two of them are on each side of the central axis between the side frames. Raise the bucket until it is completely vertical. Turn it slightly to put two holes in alignment with the ones on the guide. Push on his forklift tines for installation and decoupling bucket.
