Changing from ISO to SAE or from SAE to ISO pattern control.

Here is a quick and easy way to change the control pattern.

You will need to be in service mode and have access to the monitor.

Select “Work Area” and then go down to “Control Pattern” and enter it.

From there you can select the pattern that you want by using the arrow keys.

After you select your pattern, go back out of the menu and then press “Yes” on your screen for a confirmation before exiting service mode.

1. At the lower left control panel, press the “ISO Pattern” button.

2. Press the “ISO Pattern” button again until it displays P1.

3. Move the joystick to the backhoe position and operate the hydraulic lever for the stick cylinder.

4. Press the “ISO Pattern” button again until it displays P2 (the display will alternate between P1 and P2).

5. Move the joystick to the backhoe position and operate the hydraulic lever for the bucket cylinder.

6. Press “ISO Pattern” button again until it displays P3 (display will alternate between P2 and P3).

7. Move the joystick to backhoe position, if necessary, and operate either hydraulic lever. The display should show a pattern of 1-2-3 or 1-2-3-1-2-3 repeatedly in succession as each hydraulic lever is activated.

Test hydraulic pressure at each valve port with an appropriate test gauge: minimum pressure should be 1500 psi (10341 kPa) for a pilot system. The maximum allowable sectional pressure is 3000 psi (20682 kPa). If the pressure is not within limits, refer to troubleshooting for a possible cause.

Install a jumper line from the C port of the directional control valve to the P port of the directional control valve.

Start the machine, open all cylinder service valves, and adjust all cylinders to their full range of motion.

Operate all work tool functions until there is no noticeable change in working speed or volume of flow at each valve section when compared to other sections. If any function seems sluggish or volume of flow seems low, refer to troubleshooting for a possible cause.

The steps to change iso pattern are easy and they only take a few minutes at most. The first thing you will need to do is remove the camera’s lens. You can then apply tape over the optical sensor so that no light can enter your camera. It may take several tries before you get this right.

Once you have applied tape over the optical sensor, it is time to remove the camera’s housing. You will need to unscrew any screws that hold the housing in place before you can do this. Some cameras have a flip lock that allows you to easily remove the housing by simply popping it out of place. Once you have removed the housing, make sure you reattach it securely so that no light can enter your camera again.
